Part of our Roman Imperial Mosaic Collection, this elegant natural marble mosaic tile draws inspiration from the geometric stone floors and decorative mosaics found throughout classical Roman and Italian architecture. A dramatic black marble framework surrounds contrasting diamond-shaped marble inlays in warm shades of ivory, cream, soft pink, gold and terracotta, creating a sophisticated repeating pattern with rich Old World character.
The interlocking geometric design allows the mosaic sheets to flow together into a continuous pattern, making it especially striking across larger installations. Natural veining and tonal variation give every piece its own character, while the crisp black marble provides definition and architectural structure.

This collection is characterized by hand assembled mosaics using semi-precious marbles. Pieces are individually hand cut and manually assembled to give that old world look so they don’t look industrial. We recommend a dark grout either black or brown depending on your colorway. The Nero Antico marble looks better with a black grout and the Giallo Antico mosaics look great with a brown grout. The veining and irregularity in the mosaics give them the old world appearance.
During installation pieces will need to be adjusted by hand to ensure optimal interlocking with the sheets. The seams will need to be re-worked between the sections as necessary to make them undetectable.
This collection is pre-sealed with a beeswax based sealant which brings out the darkest, richest color in the marble.
