purchase, resell, install, or source tile, stone, mosaics, or related materials for client projects.

Accepted Trade Documentation
Resale certificate
Business license
Contractor license
Tile, stone, or flooring business documentation
Professional design or trade membership
Proof of showroom, studio, or trade business
Membership with ASID, AIA, TCAA, CBD, CKD, IDS, or another relevant trade organization
Documentation must show that your business is related to an eligible trade category.
Important
EIN or Resale Certificate Alone May Not Be Enough
An EIN number or resale certificate does not automatically qualify an applicant for a BelTile trade account.
We must be able to verify that your business is connected to the design, building, tile,
stone, construction, or home improvement trade.
This requirement helps protect approved trade professionals and maintain appropriate trade pricing.
Commercial Delivery Requirement
Trade accounts must be able to receive freight deliveries at a
commercial location without liftgate service.
If an order requires residential delivery, liftgate service, limited-access delivery,
inside delivery, or other special handling, additional freight charges may apply.
Qualification Filter
Who May Not Qualify
A trade account may not be approved if:
The applicant is purchasing only for a personal home project
The business is not related to the design or building trade
The applicant cannot provide trade documentation when requested
The application information cannot be verified
The applicant only provides an EIN without supporting trade credentials
Homeowners and retail customers are welcome to shop on BelTile.com, but trade accounts are
reserved for qualified professionals.

Please provide at least three trade references with contact information. References are used for verification only, not for credit purposes. By submitting these references, you authorize BelTile to contact them on your behalf regarding this application.
Are there discounts associated with a trade account?
Trade discount information is provided after an account has been approved.
We do not discuss discount levels before approval.
What type of trade credentials do I need?
Documentation may include a resale certificate, business license, contractor license,
trade association membership, showroom or studio documentation, or another document
showing that your business is part of the design, tile, stone, construction, or building trade.
Is my resale certificate or EIN number sufficient?
Not always. We need to verify that your business is connected to an eligible trade category.
An EIN number alone does not show that a business is part of the design or building trade.
What if I do not have a business license, trade membership, or resale certificate?
We require supporting documentation to validate trade affiliation. If documentation is
requested but not provided, we may not be able to process the application.
What types of businesses are eligible?
Eligible businesses may include flooring and tile dealers, stone fabricators, kitchen and bath
design firms, contractors, installers, interior designers, architects, builders, tile distributors,
and qualified commercial project professionals.
Can homeowners apply?
Trade accounts are reserved for qualified trade professionals. Homeowners may purchase through
the regular BelTile website but are not eligible for trade account approval unless they also
operate a qualifying trade business.
How long does approval take?
Applications are typically reviewed within approximately 48 hours once all required
information has been received.
Do I need to create a BelTile account?
Yes. A BelTile customer account is needed so your approved trade status can be connected
to your online login.
Can trade orders ship to a residence?
Some orders may ship to residential addresses, but trade accounts must be able to accept
freight deliveries at a commercial location without liftgate service. Residential delivery,
liftgate service, limited-access delivery, or special handling may result in additional freight charges.
