Our hand-painted tiles are produced by specialized workshops, and their sample and shipping schedules are different from our standard in-stock tile products.
Order Tile Samples
Hand-painted samples are shipped from our workshop in consolidated shipments approximately every two weeks.
If the sample you request is already available, it will generally be included with the next scheduled consolidated shipment. If a sample is not available, it must first be specially made and kiln-fired, which will require additional time.
Please keep this schedule in mind when ordering samples for a project with a deadline.
Orders for hand-painted tiles that are below the minimum quantity stated on the product page are also shipped with our consolidated sample shipments, approximately every two weeks. In addition, orders less than 10 pieces will also be consolidated with sample shipments.
These small orders do not follow the same production and shipping schedule as full tile orders.
Full orders that meet the stated minimum quantity are made to order and follow the regular production lead time shown on the product page or provided with your quote. If the stated minimum is 1, please note that quantities less than 10 will still need to be shipped with the samples shipments. If you require expedited shipping please inquire.
The approximately two-week consolidated shipping schedule does not apply to qualifying full production orders.
Please remember that production or processing time and shipping transit time are separate.
A tile may require time to be made, glazed and kiln-fired before it is ready to ship. Carrier transit time begins only after the order leaves the workshop or warehouse.

Because hand-painted tiles are artisan-made products, production and consolidated shipment dates are estimates and should not be considered guaranteed delivery dates.
