Sample Fee to make a custom design for tiles by our Tunisian factory. This fee is non refundable. Additional revisions will be subject to an additional sample fee once tile has been prepared. Images of sample tile will be emailed and if you wish to approve based on the photos we can refund the shipping charges. Sample price may not be reflective of final price.
This service is intended for customers planning a custom production order of approximately 30 tiles or more. It is not intended for individual replacement tiles, small repair quantities, or one-off reproductions.
You are purchasing a custom design and development service, not a finished production tile or a guaranteed exact reproduction. Please order only if you are seriously considering a qualifying production order.
A custom sample is not simply one tile pulled from production. Depending on the project, development may require:
Ceramic reproduction is an artisan process. Color, glaze, surface character, clay body, and firing results may vary. The first sample may not produce the desired result, and more than one sample or firing may be needed.
The initial development fee includes only the work described in the quoted scope. Additional samples, design revisions, color adjustments, screens, molds, or tooling may require additional charges.
We will make reasonable efforts to achieve the requested appearance, but an exact match or complete customer satisfaction cannot be guaranteed.
Differences in original materials, aging, pigments, glaze chemistry, firing conditions, photographs, and available manufacturing methods may affect the finished result.
The development fee pays for professional time, materials, artwork, testing, tooling, and kiln work. It is therefore non-refundable once development has started.

Custom development is scheduled around existing production work and requires dedicated studio and kiln time. It is not an immediate or overnight service.
The estimated development period will depend on the complexity of the project, required tooling, number of test firings, and current production schedule. Any estimated date is a planning estimate rather than a guaranteed completion date.
Please do not order this service when your project depends on a short, fixed deadline unless BelTile has reviewed and accepted that timeline in writing.

If the product shows a minimum order quantity of 20 and it is "Priced Per" Piece, then it would mean you need to order a minimum of 20 pieces.
